When you’re trying to eat a bit healthier it can be a struggle passing up all the tasty foods like pancakes — it seems like they were designed to test your willpower and commitment to your diet!

There are all kinds of “healthy alternatives” you can try but a lot of them just make a mockery of what you originally wanted. You don’t want something that tastes good for a healthy food, you just want something that tastes good, period!

Three ingredient pancakes

Try our three ingredient super quick pancake recipe for a delicious, fast and protein filled breakfast option you can treat yourself to any day of the week!

Ingredients

You’ll need:

Two very ripe bananas, two eggs, and a bit of butter to grease the frying pan.

Directions

  1. In a bowl, mash your bananas up as much as you like.
  2. Add your eggs, and mix them up together.
  3. Heat up a frying pan, add a lil bit of butter or coconut oil & swirl it so the whole pan is lightly covered.
  4. Spoon your batter into the pan to make 2 or 3 pancakes, use the back of the spoon to smooth them into a circle (or whatever shape you’re into, that’s cool too)
  5. Flip it and turn off the heat when bubbles start to appear.
  6. Plate up your pancakes — breakfast is served!
