If you’re like me, you probably spend time every day thinking about how your life could be improved, but somehow, for me, it normally involves crafting.

Here are some things that every crafting addict has experienced.

1. The, “I’m just going to check Pinterest for a minute,” that somehow turns into hours of you lying in bed with at least two new boards.

2. The answer to, “So, what are your hobbies?”, is really easy.

3. You never go to Michaels or Joann Fabrics without a coupon (even though everyone hates the custom framing one.)

4. You can’t sleep so you decided to go on Pinterest. That then leads you to having an idea and then, before you know it, you’re surrounded by two completed canvases and the sun is rising.

5. You hate yourself for judging subpar crafts but you just can’t help it.

6. When someone offers to craft something for you, you’re on edge until the moment they give it to you.

7. You see something on Pinterest that seems out of your ability, but you try it anyway.

8. Somehow, you have the smart idea of starting a new show while crafting which just creates a downward spiral of consumption and production.

9. You walk down the pre-made craft aisle in Michael’s thinking, “I could make this for SOOOO much cheaper.”

10. You’ve gotten to the point where, if you do not finish a craft in one sitting, you feel like a failure. However, that isn’t an excuse for it not being perfect.

11. You love the fact that it saves you money after you spend hundreds on the initial materials.

12. But, one thing is for sure. Even if you have to defend your love of crafting, whatever you make is going to turn out great.
