Every single time that the moon is shining, right there, up in the sky and clouds pass by, pushed by the gentle breeze of the night, I think about words that were said to me since I started to be curious about this reality.
“Stanley, never forget, our thoughts create our own world”.
I was always a curious kid, born with the gift of creation and invention. Early, everyone around me realized that I was special. My upbringing was complicated. I grew up with my mother and my stepfather, things weren’t great. There was constant pressure and life wasn’t good. This brought me into a deep depression. We didn’t live in abundance and in order to escape my own reality I went scavenging for parts in order to build the MOW device and connect to the Metaverse, my own world.
The MOW device worked great initially, I created 7,007 different and unique slimes. Little did I knew that the parts that I used for the MOW device wouldn’t hold together. An explosion happened! The MOW device exploded into 7 different parts and the Slimes invaded the real world.
These creatures, I can’t control them, they are hectic by essence, they adopted characteristics of my favorite cartoons, from the comic books that I read. Some are good, some might be evil? I can’t tell. Are they going to help me? Are there more? Or they will make me dive into a deeper depression?

I am reaching out to you, yes, you reading this. I need your help. Only you can help me put things right back into place and maybe, just maybe, find my family and send these creatures back to where they came from, it won’t be easy, there might be twists but with you by my side, there is no giving up..
What is My Own World NFT collection?
MOW NFT is a High quality art collection by the Portuguese illustrator Luís Figueiredo and it is also a community driven collection, with 7,007 unique NFT’s on the Ethereum Blockchain, where holders have the ability to choose the fate of MOWs and the direction of the MOW comic book as the root utility.
The MOW team
The MOW team is doxxed, João Teixeira is one of the co-founders and the creative lead with years of experience in Design and creative processes. João Rangel is a fullstack developer and Engineer with a long track record in the development of solutions for the most varied clients all over the world. Luís Figueiredo needs no introduction, he is a Comic Con Portugal invited artist and has been collaborating with NFT projects for the last 6 months, he is famous for his highly refined and stylistic illustrations and interpretations of famous Manga series.
These are the three co-founders, the team that will deliver to you the “My Own World” NFT collection.
The Roadmap
The roadmap release is phased. We will be revealing a portion of what is to come every week until minting , in the meantime, competitions will be held, sneak peeks and whitelist spots will be given to those that contribute positively and actively with and inside the community. We are also open to collaborations with those that have utility and can benefit our community members.
The Community
My Own World is a community driven project where governance has a unique role in the building of the lore. We plan on giving back, passively, not from speculation but organically and with proper utility that will benefit all holders of the collection. We thrive to inspire, to cultivate artists and help them with Web3 principles in mind, more on this to be revealed!
