Same idea, different context

Yesterday I wrote about perfection being the enemy of good when it comes to writing. Is the same is true of sustainability? Greenwash is rife, and while the more egregious examples are now routinely called out there are still many companies that have the best of intentions but seem to me to get it wrong in some way. It might be businesses that make the loudest claims of great initiatives or impact but just in one area, or people celebrating news from others that a little reflection might show is not worth the gushing shares or likes.
