Being Introverted Doesn’t Mean to Be Shy
A poem dedicated to society
Dear society,
Introversion is a kind of personality,
And you need to change your mentality,
Being introverted doesn’t mean being shy.
Sometimes your comments are hurtful,
And you think we are awful to be with.
People have some weird names to give us,
Some say party poopers and others called us wet blankets,
Tried of your different labels,
So don’t force us to be rebels.
Introverts can be a leader,
Rather than being just a reader.
It doesn’t mean that we can’t have a sparky personality,
If we don’t like to party.
We are not greater,
That doesn’t mean we cannot be good team players.
If we don’t talk much,
That doesn’t mean we are unemotional.
If we cannot be a good public speaker,
That doesn’t mean we are weaker.
If we like some me-time,
That doesn’t mean we want to be left alone.
If we don’t show our emotions like others,
Doesn’t mean we are rude to others,
And can’t be happy with others.
We are not weird,
We are just like you are.
We don’t have low self-confidence,
Our inner peace and satisfaction are the evidence.
We are not a people pleaser,
That doesn’t mean we hate people.
We don’t need to be fixed,
We are just perfect the way we are.
I am an introvert since childhood. An introvert is a person with qualities of a personality type known as introversion, which means that they feel more comfortable focusing on their inner thoughts and ideas, rather than what’s happening externally.
There are many misconceptions about introverts in society. Some of the misconceptions are hurtful. When you say the word introvert, most people will think of a person who is shy or quiet.
Introverts are not shy people. They are quiet doesn’t mean they are not emotional or rude to others. Sometimes, we find it hard to express our emotions and feelings.
We don’t go to parties doesn’t mean we cannot have fun. We have fun when we read a book or watch a movie. We do have a lot of fun in our minds at all times.
We are not talkative people doesn’t mean we can not work in groups or lead a team.
Introvertion is a kind of personality. We introverts are a person who don’t talk much and like to keep our thoughts to ourselves.
There is a tremendous difference between alone and lonely. You could be lonely in a group of people. I like being alone. I like eating by myself. I go home at night and just watch a movie or hang out with my dog. I have to exert myself and really say, oh God, I’ve got to see my friends because I’m too content by myself.”

To all the introverts out there,
There is nothing wrong to be an introvert. You are perfectly unique. So, Never hate yourself for what you are. Be happy and enjoy yourself. Don’t forget to cheer yourself.🥂🙂
