I realize we have worse things to worry about like being nuked by Putin but you know, just in case he can’t find the codes because Ethan Hunt swapped them out, there’s still a virus called Covid19. Even if the Omicron variant isn’t that bad. And even if it’s almost over.

There are still lots of infections happening daily. The good news? Most of the infected have no symptoms. But (there’s always a but) there still are people who are getting sick, despite most of them being fully vaccinated.

Act responsibly: excuse me what?

We know this but let’s highlight it again: you can still get sick even if you are vaccinated. The vaccination does not protect against infection. The likelihood you get seriously sick from Covid19 is greatly reduced when/if vaccinated ergo fully vaccinated people are better protected against contracting a serious case of Covid 19. That is the good news.

The bad news: the vaccinated, recovered, or tested regulation thing not required anymore in many European countries for access to various social events/traveling then everything is fine looks to be a tiny bit preemptive. But I get it. People are just sick of restrictions.
