One thought came to mind when I first heard the news about tWitch passing.

Hmm, that was fast!

Autopsy results, the conclusion he unalived himself, no foul play, case closed — all determined in a day. Such a rapid assessment.

Is that normal in these cases?

I continued watching the news, learning what occurred before and after his last days.

I observed tWitch as he danced with his wife, their final post together on TikTok. Was pain hidden in his eyes? No is a common consensus. Nothing but warmth and happiness exuded from this wonderful human.

Yes, I’m aware that doesn’t always mean a person is well. Joy can be a mask or a choice to show up that way.

A person’s mental state can change in a moment. We only saw a snapshot of his life in that last video. Did something set him off later that day or the next? Yet, bothersome thoughts can brew for a while, and then hit momentum.

I’ve heard stories of those being around loved ones with suicidal plans. No hint in sight of the darkness that tormented them.
