Every day, I thank my lucky stars that I live in Canada, and most Canadians feel the same way. According to Statistics Canada, the number of Canadians visiting the US has fallen 40% over this time last year, causing billions in losses to the US economy. The Trump-appointed US Ambassador to Canada is now whining and complaining about the Canadians’ attitude. “I’m disappointed that I came to Canada — a Canada that it is very, very difficult to find Canadians who are passionate about the American-Canadian relationship,” Hoekstra said.
So. The insane, cry-baby US president kicks the living crap out of the friendly relationship that has existed between Canada and the USA since the inception of the two countries, threatens to annex Canada, states emphatically the USA needs NOTHING from Canada, and his appointed ambassador to this country is whining that Canadians are not the USA’s best friends anymore?
Well, boo-hoo to you, baby ambassador.
Look at the behaviour of your so-called president. Since the inauguration of the hay-stack-headed, orange-faced, narcissistic, misogynistic, convicted felon, serial liar, and sexual deviant, he has dumped on Canada as follows:
Canadians with US government-approved documentation have been arrested and confined under terrible conditions by the US Gestapo group, ICE.
Tariffs on many Canadian products have rocketed up to 50%. (Oh, by the way. It is AMERICANS who pay those tariffs, not Canadians).
Called Canada “a disgrace”.
Called Canadians “mean and nasty” when we challenged Trump’s unjustified and unwarranted attacks on our country.
He rounded out the remarks on Canada by noting that “they give us nothing and they are the worst people to negotiate with, of everybody.” OF EVERYBODY!!! Worse than the Russians, the Chinese, the North Koreans?
So American, don’t be surprised if this time next year, that percentage of Canadians staying away from the USA drops to 80%. Don’t forget, you voted this moron in.
