We think our iPhones, Jimmy Choos, kale smoothies, mindfulness self-help books, careers in tech, and vitamin E facial creams set us apart from the animal kingdom, but they don’t. It’s all a chimaera. A dream. A fairy tale. A delusional fantasy. A pie in the sky notion that’s nought but the collective pipe dream of an 8-billion-strong tribe of erectile apes that can’t handle its true nature.
And you know what? This madness seeps into all forms of society, most notably sexuality and dating. This is an arena where well-meaning souls feel compelled to play make-believe and act confused by things clear as day to anyone with a functioning pair of eyeballs.
