Why Netanyahu Does Not Want The War on Gaza To End
My take.
Benjamin Netanyahu does not want the conflict against Hamas and the Palestinians in general, to end. As long as it goes on, Israelie's attention is deflected from his corruption, his law-breaking, and his plan to change the Israeli constitution and become the Putin of Israel.
Netanyahu was elected to office based on his boast that only he had the experience to protect the Israeli people from attacks. Thus the “Iron Dome”, the Great Wall of Israel, his anti-missile system, and possibly the most well-armed military in the Middle East.
There has been much criticism of his government’s inability to foresee the attack, rape, murder, and kidnapping by Hamas on unarmed Israeli citizens on October 7th. According to many news articles, settlers in that part of Israel had submitted numerous reports on Hamas activities on the Gaza side of the wall in which they appeared to be carrying out exercises akin to an attack. These exercises it is reported, had been going on for several months.
These reports were ignored. Why? Here is where I am going out on a limb and will probably be chastised and criticized over my theory.
