As a kid, i wanted to be a Pilot and being in Air Force school, i use to see planes everyday but as i grew up got inspired by my Uncle to be a Civil Engineer. By the time i passed schooling, i was in love with Physics and Resnick/Halliday was my fav. book ;). Moment i reached college and saw the condition on equipments in lab, the physicist inside me evaporated :( and software boom gave rise to a programmer inside me !!

So here i am a Software Professional with 13 years in industry and still thinking am i going in right direction?? As now i love to be with people and work with them.

I never understand when people tell me that they knew what they wanted to do right from beginning….i mean does it really happen or people just want to believe it because they are too scared to change?

There have been lots of people who have guided me, which gave me a path to try out but then i have changed my path numerous times based on what i liked. Only way i know is Hit and trial ….. you got to try…got to fail and find out what works. Of course one will seek guidance and trust your own instinct to decide your path. This hit and trial only will make your judgement more sound and as you do what you want to it makes you feel more happier and confident.

Our interests, ideas keep evolving, so i don’t think possible to have one fixed path but the challenge is to be part of this social setup which expects you to follow fixed path and still do what makes you feel happy….Can you do it?

At the end of the day …its the journey which matters..isn’t it :) … Any path which makes you feel worthy and good about yourself is the path in right direction….
