Page, Arizona is one of the most beautiful parts of the country and Lower Antelope Canyon is the most well-known slot canyon in the world! I will not miss it because I may (or may not) have to poop! 💩
Trying to plan for hikes and day trips with a semicolon can be a real POOPventure! I’m usually really confident in my abilities and have done up to 8 miles before without a problem BUT, today’s #SlotCanyon tours really threw me for a loop because for the first time ever I wasn’t allowed to have my “Go Bag” or my emergency toilet(s)! AKA: Security Blanket! 😬 So, what happens if you need to poop and you can’t? These are by no means foolproof methods, but I’m here to share my experiences with you! Yes, even two years later, the semicolon can have a mind of its own — especially if you have #LARS — lower anterior resection syndrome, so it’s always good to: 1) Be prepared 2) Be flexible 3) Try new things and 4) Never give up! Day-to-day things are mostly smooth sailing, but outings, events, and occasions always require advance planning and preparation! It’s all a part of my POOPtastic life! Is it worth it? HELL YES! 💙💪🏼💩🥾 🏜️
