My BadASS Life VLOG #13 — 2/6/24
Happy to report I’m a little behind on updating this blog so there are three new VLOG’s coming your way. I’ve been enjoying LIFE and haven’t been overly computing lately!
And, I’m thinking of converting my medium blog to it’s own website 🤔 — if you want to vote on that 👍🏼 or 👎 let me know!
This VLOG was recorded on 2/6/24, when upon returning home from 10 weeks on the road I had 5 medical appointments in one day! Just like before we left! 😩 The stress began just after getting a text reminder for my #oncology appointment. As many #CancerSurvivors will tell you, this happens often without us realizing it, and the next thing you know you’re ready to either bite someone’s head off or have a good ugly cry. Come to think of it, it’s a LOT like #menopause! It’s a thing many of us don’t talk about often because it’s hard to explain to people who haven’t walked in these shoes… We’re here, we’re alive, we’re in remission, we should be grateful! We are, and I’m here to tell you that some days no amount of gratitude combats that evil “what if” monster swirling around in your head. 👹 That’s why this video is all about #REFRAMING! I had to make a conscious choice on that day to believe that these appointments aren’t going to bring bad news! They are going to AFFIRM my EXCELLENT HEALTH! …
UPDATE: All is well. My #CEA was .3 (excellent), both our our #Mammograms were negative and other than the fact that my #lymphocytes (#Tcells & #Bcells) are still dragging well behind the WBC pack 😷 , all is good!
Now we wait until May where I get to do it all over again along with scans and #GuardantReveal! 🤦♀️ This is the life of a cancer survivor and It’s not for 🐈!
