Today we are excited to announce we have decided to replace Task.Market with The Planning Suite (TPS)by Autark Labs.
Task.Market was MyBit’s distributed workflow application initially built on OpenBounty by Status.im and then migrated to Bounties Network and Gitcoin. However, due to failing to come to an understanding on a newly proposed fee structure by Gitcoin, MyBit decided to temporarily shut down Task.Market.
This decision came after successfully testing TPS on the ropsten test-network version of the MyBit DAO. It was then enacted via proposal #44 on the MyBit DAO.
Our goal with Task.Market was always to build a decentralised workflow application with the end result of being integrated into the MyBit DAO for truly decentralised and autonomous governance by our stakeholders. Autark Labs has received nearly $500,000 in funding from the Aragon Foundation and has developed a great solution for distributed workflows. We decided it made more sense to work alongside them, rather than to spend unnecessary time and resources developing our own application which would probably end up being quite similar.
The Planning Suite is still currently in development and only stable on testnet; however, we are ready to integrate into the MyBit DAO the second it becomes available on main-net.
