This section explains how to play My Crypto Saga battles.

Decks (cards) used for battles

From the start, go to the “Cards” page and set up a deck of 10 cards so that the deck cost is not exceeded.

* In the Battle Beta Test, the maximum deck cost is 55.

* The images are under development.

Rules of Battle ①: Three cards become your playing hand.

Three cards from your deck are randomly dealt to you and become your hand for the game (Note: reshuffled each game).

Rules of Battle ②: Choose the card you want to play in the Pre-Round

The game beings with a “Pre-Round”; turn order is decided by whom has the Flag.

When it’s your turn, choose any one of the three cards in your hand. The Number of the card you played in the Pre-Round does not affect the Final Count(see below), but the skill effect of the card will be activated. Try to predict your opponent’s card information (skills etc..) and choose the card you think is best.

The skill effect activated by the cards played are displayed above the Round Marker where they are active.

* You cannot reuse a card once you put it on the field.

Rules of Battle ③: Choose a card to play in Round 1.

After confirming the skill effects activated from the Pre-Round, choose a card from your hand and put it on the field.

* There is a time limit for card selection.

Rules of Battle ④ : Charge Action

In Round 1 & Round 2, the Charge Action occurs after the card selection. The Charge Action determines whether or not the player will spend more KP to continue the game.

There is a time limit on Charge Actions.

Charge Actions are as follows:

  • Wait
A Charge Action taken when no one has used KP yet in that round. The game proceeds without charging.
  • Charge
A Charge Action taken when no one has used any KP yet in that round. 50% of the previous round’s KP-Pool becomes the suggested Charge.
  • Equal charge
Match the amount of KP already in the field
  • Double Charge
Double the amount of Charge used in the field thus far. Only one person can do this in each round.
  • Hypercharge
Use of KP further stacked onto the Double Charge amount. This is double the amount of a Double Charge. Only one person can do this in each round.
  • Full Charge
If one’s KP is insufficient for to perform any of the the above Charge Actions, use all the remaining KP on the card to continue participating in the game.
  • Escape: Withdraw from this game
(Note: Will be dealt back in on the next game).

If a player performs a “Full Charge”, the KP amount will be based on the previous “Full Charge”.
When a player makes a full charge, all subsequent charge actions will be skipped. If you have a Full Charge, you will not be able to Escape, and you will always have to participate until the charge is completed for that round.

All KP used in the charge action will be added to the Pool.

Rule of Battle 5 : Activate Skills

When all the players have completed their Charge Actions, all the cards in the field (except those who “Escaped”) will be opened; each card’s skills will be activated automatically.

Activating a skill will bring about various effects on the cards in the field, such as changing Numbers or Elements.

Battle Rule 6 : Elemental Boost

In Round 1 and Round 2, the “Elemental Boost” is automatically performed after the skill is activated.

Points are added to or subtracted from each card’s Number depending on the Element of the cards opened in that round.

Battle Rule 7 : Final Count

The numbers of the cards in Round 1 and Round 2 are counted, and the player with the highest total number wins. Multiple winners are possible.

Rule of Battle 8 : KP distribution after the game

The KP pooled for that game is distributed to each Card used by the game winner.

For cards with less KP than the Full Charge, the amount of allocation will be adjusted according to the difference in KP used.

Details of the distribution of KP earned to cards>

(1): For all cards used in a game that you win, you will be compensated with the amount of KP used as charge for that game;
“Victory Reward” = Earned KP -(1)
(2): 10% of the “Victory Reward” will be treated as “Play Charge” and burned.
* No Play Charge will be collected for the Battle Beta Test.

(3) The remaining KP after subtracting (2) will be distributed to all the cards. The allocation ratio is set according to the “Amount of Charge KP used". If there is an abundance of KP, they will be distributed in the order of Round 2 / Round 1.

Rule of Battle 9: 1 Battle = A set of 3 games.

Rules 1–8 apply to one game. One set consists of three games. Normally, battles end after one set.

You will continue to use the same deck for the duration of one battle, three games in a row are played again the same player.

The player with the highest total KP over the three games is the winner of that Set!

* Depending on future tournament regulations, there may be battles where multiple sets are used to determine the winner.

Rule of Battle 10: Other

■About Exceeding Time Limit (Timeouts)

- Card Selection
When time runs out, The card with the lowest number in the remaining hand is selected. If there are two or more cards with the same number, they are selected in order from left to right. (Feb. 18, 2021 Updated)

- Charging
When the time runs out, “Charge” is automatically selected as “Wait” if the remaining KP allows it, or “Escape” if the KP is insufficient.

■Disconnection during battle play

  • Once a player is disconnected, he or she will not be able to return to the same battle. The word [Disconnection] will appear on the screen of the disconnected player.
  • Even if someone is disconnected, the battle will continue until the end.
The action of the disconnected player is automatically selected in the same way as “Timeout”. Pre-round charges are also automatic.
  • Please note that reloading the screen is also considered a disconnection.
