[MCS]Message from Master.Nob (Hironobu Ueno)
I’m excited to announce that the Battle beta test of our new blockchain game “My Crypto Saga” (in short “MCS”) will start soon!
MCS is a title that can be said to be the direct descendant of MCH, because is being developed mainly by the same people who created “My Crypto Heroes” (in short MCH).
Our first game title, MCH, has merged an “unique game system” and an “open ecosystem” into a blockchain game. And with the support of many stakeholders, we were able to open up the blockchain game market in the early days through MCH.
MCS was started from the summer of 2019 to take on new challenges that MCH alone could not tackle.
These three new challenges are:
1. Realization of a multiverse world where NFTs (heroes and lands) sold at MCH can be used across games
2. Full-fledged strategy battle where you can enjoy PvP ~ GvG seamlessly
3. Build a new ecosystem that allows users to create and expand the world
In addition to these, we were also trying to build a new business model using DeFi, however, considering legal issues and counter-party risk, we decided to give up at the moment unwillingly.
MCH adopted pixel art, which brought back some memories, to realized fully decentralized operation. But in MCS, we will not use pixel art because we figured that it’s not the right time to challenge that.
Designed on the premise of an hybrid mechanics between off-chain and on-chain, MCS introduces 3D into battle while playing a browser game, and users can create Map NFT, which is the field where players compete.
MCS will start with fully “Invitation only ”, limited to MCH’s land holders and their invitees.
By linking the timing of content implementation with the recruitment of new users and the timing of asset sales, we would like to control the excessive rise and fall of asset value by gradually expanding the scale.
In the upcoming first ”Kami” asset sale, you will be able to use MCH’s GUM. A little later, we plan to introduce new payment methods.
Beyond these, we want to tackle new challenges in pursuit of uniqueness of a blockchain game.
