Toronto Crypto Summit at LoyaltyOne. Friday March 9 2018.

Bitcoin. Ethereum. Ripple. That is all people want to talk about these days. But what’s the point of trying to keep up with these “Crypto Miners” when you don’t even know what cryptocurrency is. That’s what myCryptoHippo is for.

Here at myCryptoHippo, the sales department is constantly at work trying to figure out the best ways to derive a large amount of sales for the company and spread the message about crypto. Whether this is creating social media posts, or simply creating a script on how to properly sell tickets, we are always on the clock trying to get the word about crypto out into the eyes of the public.

One of our biggest tasks was preparing for our first event, the Toronto Crypto Summit. This is an event designed to educate the viewer on cryptocurrencies and blockchain, allowing them to acquire knowledge of one of the most rapidly developing technologies in the world. Present at this event was, Som Seif, CEO of Purpose Investments, who shared his vast knowledge of cryptocurrency.

In order for the word to spread prior to this event, it was up to the sales and marketing teams at myCryptoHippo to create social media posts tailor-made exclusively for the target audience, that being the young, Generation Z. This took a variety of team members who created draft after draft of possible social media posts that included all the necessary information for the event. Once each post was finalized they were posted on a variety of social media platforms in an effort to get our event out into the world.

Now that the word was out that our event was up and coming, it was up to the entire company to try and sell tickets. In order for this to be done successfully, it was up to the sales department to present all team members with a general script for selling tickets. With this model put in place, we facilitated the distribution of physical and online tickets.

Selling tickets to an event is challenging, especially when you’re a student-run company selling not only to friends but to older university students and industry professionals. However, with a lot of hard work from the team at myCryptoHippo, we successfully sold over 300 tickets.

Here at myCryptoHippo, we are excited to provide the opportunity to educate young individuals on the topic of cryptocurrency. We know that this is only the beginning for cryptocurrency and we believe that with a little help, everyone else will know that too. Check us out at myCryptoHippo.com.
