User privacy and security have always been top priorities at MEW. That’s why all MEW products — including the original MyEtherWallet, the MEW wallet app, and the browser extension Enkrypt — are non-custodial, client side, and open source.

We build our products with these priorities in mind, from the ground up.

We work with security partners to ensure that websites or platforms that are trying to scam our users are taken down.

We go through our products with a fine-tooth comb to make sure that we are not inadvertently collecting identifiable user data.

We create educational guides to give our users a clear understanding of how wallets work and what are the best security practices.

We are open source because we are committed to transparency and accountability with our community.

With bug bounties, we welcome the security experts in the community to help us keep MEW safe and contribute to wallet development in the space by identifying vulnerabilities in our code.

Our bug bounty programs for MEW web, MEW wallet app, and Enkrypt are now on HackenProof.
