Simplex Adds Support for ApplePay

Now, ApplePay is available to MEW wallet iOS users everywhere*

On the mobile iOS platform, one such solution is ApplePay: a quick, convenient payment method that’s also more secure, because it does not require you to share credit card information on the internet for every purchase. When we created the MEW wallet app for iOS, we integrated Wyre’s ApplePay functionality to give our users the fastest and and most frictionless way to buy ETH in a mobile crypto wallet.

That being said, we know that Wyre is not available to users everywhere, which is why we had also partnered with Simplex for payments via debit or credit card. Now, we are excited to see Simplex introduce ApplePay as one of the accepted payment options! For us, this means that all users of MEW wallet iOS, almost anywhere in the world*, will be able use ApplePay to buy ETH quickly and securely.

*With the exception of a small number of countries not supported by either Wyre or Simplex for security reasons.
