Collaboration on the #RoadTo1MillionJobs

At MyKuya, we are committed to using the power of technology to create jobs for all Filipinos. The ubiquity of digital platforms, across all socio-economic classes, has provided a path towards social equity — where people can find countless opportunities for work on-demand.

On all fronts, we want to make it easier for people in the Philippines to find a better life for themselves, whether you are a consumer, business, or someone looking for better livelihood.

On March 23, 2019, we solidified a Partnership with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) in support of that very same goal.

As a government agency, TESDA is responsible for developing the Filipino workforce by providing them with the education and technical skills required for them to succeed. Through its programs and instruction, they create competent graduates for a wide range of technical skills, helping them transition well into work.

As a recognized key player in the digital-based service provider industry, MyKuya committed to mutual collaboration in providing on-demand job opportunities to TVET graduates, while also gaining access to this pool of skilled individuals for MyKuya’s platform.

This kind of agreement is ideal and desired for us at MyKuya, as we tackle the issues of unemployment and underemployment on the #RoadTo1MillionJobs. Our platform was created to empower the diverse workforce in our country, creating a more productive and better Philippines — and by doing these kinds of things we work towards fulfilling this potential.

In collaboration and support of organizations and government agencies like TESDA, we believe that our goal is actually a feasible one. If others share this same vision for the future, we are hopeful that we can work quicker and more efficiently towards progress in the Philippines.

At MyKuya, we not only want to help consumers and businesses but also strive to really make a difference by extending these opportunities to those who need it. This is something that not only impacts the lives of our Ates and Kuyas but also of their individual families and wider communities, ultimately making an exponential impact in the nation.

And as we grow and provide our services to more clients, we’re in turn able to provide even more opportunities to those who need it. This is something that we believe will lead to positive nation-building and the betterment of our country. But to get there, we need much more of this collaboration and are excited to invite others along for the ride.
