The war for talents and increasing scarcity of supply puts specialists in a very comfortable position. It has been estimated that applied robotics and higher degrees of automation will create more jobs than they destroy. The majority of these jobs, however, will require higher skills to manage the increasing complexity of the new technologies. A lot of the specialists required can already today choose where to work and how to create the own careers (btw, with a trend of working fewer hours). To increase their flexibility, a lot of talents will work as contractors and freelancers giving them more freedom and time for themselves and their personal surrounding.

This poses the questions for companies on how to attract, keep and build long-term relationships with the talents they require to grow or transform digitally to remain competitive in the future. Skilled talents will too easily turn away once they are not happy with the employment experience. Millennials are estimated to have an average of about 7+ jobs in their life-time. Thus, creating higher loyalty is beneficial for both sides. Workforce Relationship Management is all about that. Just like a CRM is for customer acquisition, retention and comprehending, WRM helps companies to build close links with their internal and external workforce.

A workforce relationship management system helps companies to create an inventory of the skills they have and to more effectively staff the right people onto the right positions. This will increase staff satisfaction as their skills are leveraged more efficiently and decrease operational cost as employees are more efficiently deployed.

This is valid for the internal and external workforce. In addition to having all of your employees on your fingertips, you can connect to external contingency workers and build long-term relationships with them. In addition, you will be able to incentivize them to work with you “more exclusively”. Having contractors work with you more repetitively saves expensive time on on-boarding, training and familiarizing with company-specific processes and systems.

Monday combines data-driven staff decision-making with social aspects. We do not only help you to keep track of all the skills available to you, internal or external, but also support finding the perfect match for any position. If you do not find the right person inside for your next project, you have immediate access to a larger pool of available contractors (external workforce+).
