How to top up MyNearWallet via Coinbase

A step-by-step guide by MNW team

NEAR got listed by Coinbase on September 1 2022. That’s why we prepared a step-by-step guide on how to top up MyNearWallet using this platform.

First of all, buy NEAR assets on the Сoinbase platform.

1. Sign in to Coinbase.

2. Select ”Buy / Sell” on the upper right-hand side. Click on the ”Buy” tab.

3. Choose NEAR in the “Buy” panel.

4. Enter the amount you’d like to buy in crypto or your local currency.
5. Select your payment method.
6. Click ”Preview Buy” to confirm your purchase (or click a back arrow to make a change).

7. If the details are correct, click ”Buy” to complete your purchase.

Then, send NEAR from Coinbase to your MyNearWallet account.

1. Go to your Dashboard on Coinbase, select ”Send/Receive” button on the upper left side of the screen.

2. In the opened window choose a “Send” tab. Enter the amount of crypto you’d like to send (you can toggle between the cash value or crypto amount).

3. Select ”Pay with” and choose “NEAR” in the list of crypto, you can use the search line.

4. In the field “To” enter your MyNearWallet address. Carefully check it to be correct.

To find your MyNearWallet address, go to the MyNearWallet profile, in the “Balances” select the “Receive” button. Then, copy the Account ID in the opened tab.

5. Select ”Continue” to review and check the details.

6. Click on ”Send now” and confirm your transaction.

🥳 Cheers! Now you have more NEAR on your MyNearWallet account.

Important! All sends to crypto addresses are irreversible. Coinbase and MyNearWallet cannot retrieve funds sent to the incorrect address or using the incorrect network.
