MyNearWallet Update: Make Swaps Directly From the App

MyNearWallet has launched decentralized exchanges (DEXs) directly in its app via Ref Finance platform! Swap your tokens via decentralized trading right in MyNearWallet. No need to go to a DEX app individually now.

Why did we choose to implement this solution via Ref Finance and how you can use it? Let’s see.

Why did we choose decentralized exchanges over centralized ones?

Better security

There is no single access point to all the assets and users’ data. DEXs have no access to users’ funds, which not only lowers the risks of hacking attacks, but also lessens interference from third parties, either from the management of the exchange or the local authorities.

Faster and cheaper transactions

The absence of third parties makes the transactions much faster and cheaper, compared to the centralized exchanges.

Crypto for crypto exchanges

Now you can swap USDT.e, USDC, REF, ETH, WBTC, SWEAT, SKYWARD, and AURORA via decentralized trading. There is no trading for fiat as this would mean using complex centralized verification processes using your real ID.

Non-custodial solution and anonymity

As stated above, there is no need to use your ID when doing DEX swaps. As our wallet does not collect any personal data, we needed a solution that would protect the privacy of our users.
