  3. Your body becomes stronger when it’s forced to fight.
  4. Healthy people, who don’t struggle with their weight, don’t eat diet bars and shakes.
  5. Eat seasonally, don’t be picky, and develop habits to maintain a healthy weight and body.
  6. Fasting can be an effective way to purge cancerous cells, but keep in mind that fasting doesn’t mean juice fasts and entering starvation mode.
  7. Get serious about your core with the push up planche and pilates.
  8. Big gyms aren’t motivating, while boutiques are more intimate and you bond with others.
  9. Boutique fitness is like a religion, it gives people something to believe in and offers a sense of belonging.
  10. Finding a therapist is overwhelming. You’re not broken if you don’t find a fit right away.
  11. If you need it, don’t be afraid to take medication for mental health. You wouldn’t pray away the flu.

  14. Every parent gets overwhelmed, you don’t have to feel guilt or shame.
  15. When looking for snacks at a convenience store, opt for cheese over humus if the humus is full of artificial ingredients.
  16. If the only place around is a coffee shop, skip the pastries and get porridge (oatmeal) with fruit and milk.
  17. Plan your meals and stock on protein bars you can eat on the go.
  18. Take command over your own impulses to avoid repeating old patterns.
  19. Repressing anger can lead to health issues, and art therapy and exercise can be an outlet.
  20. Write in your journal every day, and if you notice a recurring problem you know something has to change.
