Announces Node License Price Adjustment Amidst Soaring Demand
Over the past weeks, the enthusiasm and support from our growing community have propelled Myria to new heights. The increasing interest in operating nodes within our network is a testament to our ecosystem and the trust placed in our vision for the future of decentralized technologies.
In order to ensure the continued prosperity of our community, several adjustments will be made to the pricing of our Node Licenses. This strategic move will not only fortify the foundation of our ecosystem but will also unlock new opportunities for both existing and future node operators.
Base Price Adjustments
The starting price of a MYRIA Node was $4,500 when Nodes were made available for the public to purchase and operate. Over the past months, the Node price has gradually increased as more Nodes are in circulation as part of the design of our price ramp mechanism.
Beginning on Dec 8th (08:00 AM UTC), the base price for each node will be increased to $5,500.
Price Ramp Adjustments
As part of the price adjustment, we are moving from an exponential to a linear price increase mode, ensuring a more gradual and predictable pricing structure. By adopting a linear price increase, we aim to stimulate sustainable expansion within our ecosystem. This mechanism promotes a steady influx of new node operators, contributing to the overall health and resilience of our network.
Beginning on Dec 8th (08:00 AM UTC), the price ramp mechanism will be set to increase in price at the rate of $100 for every 100 node licenses sold. As part of the update, the price ramp will be reset.
Example: Upon the completion of the update, the first 100 nodes sold will be $5,500, then the next 100 will be $5,600.
Node Purchase Halt Prior To Update
To ensure that the update will take place smoothly, node purchases will be suspended from Dec 8th at 7:30~ AM UTC for roughly 1 hour for the system to update.
