Announcing The Myria Developer Grants Program
Today, we’re proud to introduce the Myria Developer Grants Program, an initiative set to empower blockchain gaming projects of all sizes and foster the expansion of the Myria ecosystem. The program is designed to support developers who want to build on the Myria Web3 blockchain gaming platform and take advantage of all the benefits that come with it including free NFT minting, 0 gas fees, and instantaneous transactions.
At Myria, we believe in providing developers with the resources they need, such as the Myria SDK, to create amazing Web3 games on our platform. The Developer Grants Program is our dedicated initiative, designed to support game development and grant creators the freedom to build high-quality blockchain games that can reach a broader audience.
The Myria Developer Grants Program is a direct funding program that enables developers to apply for funding for their gaming projects. Developers can receive up to $500,000 in MYRIA tokens to build their games on the Myria platform. The grants can be used to cover the costs associated with game development such as coding, design, marketing, and much more. The Myria Grants are based on milestones with more funds being unlocked for projects that keep achieving the goals on their roadmap.
In addition to providing funding, projects participating in the Myria Developers Grants Program will also have access to direct support from the Myria team. This includes but isn’t limited to gameplay design, economy design, tokenomics, marketing support, token listing, and more.
How Can Your Project Apply?
To apply for a grant, developers have to submit an application from the Myria website and outline their game development plan, including the concept, gameplay, design, and target audience. There are no restrictions in terms of genre. We welcome all types of games and encourage developers to be creative and innovative with their proposals. All applications will be reviewed by a Myria committee. Successful applications will be contacted by Myria. In the future, we will be exploring options to decentralize the whole process and involve the community through a democratic vote.
Once approved, developers will receive funding directly from the Myria Ecosystem Fund. Through the fund, Myria supports and nurtures the growth of the ecosystem, which brings together game developers, gamers, node operators, and other participants on the Myria platform.
