Myria Q1 2024 Recap
It seems like 2024 has just begun, but we’re already three months in! This means only one thing. It’s time for a recap! Let’s look at some of the highlights from the Myria ecosystem from the first quarter of 2024.
Game Updates
Metarush
The beginning of 2024 was for Metarush. In February, the first game by Myria Studios finally got its website, providing players with a dedicated spot on the internet for all things Metarush.
By visiting the Metarush website, players can find more information about the game, its mechanics, and behind-the-scenes content. In addition to the new website, Metarush now also has its separate Medium page.
At the end of February, the Myria Head of Blockchain sat down with Myria’s Game Design Director to discuss the Metarush economy. You can find the full recording of the chat between Brendan and Ivan on Twitter.
Later in March, community members had the opportunity to participate in the first Metarush Alpha Playtest for 2024. Users who made the cut into the event received access to a special channel on Discord, giving them a chance to communicate with the team behind Metarush, get exclusive behind-the-scenes information about the game, and experience the title firsthand.

Ecosystem Updates
Myria Site Rework
Starting with January, the biggest event in the month was the complete rework of the official Myria website. The Myria page received a complete makeover with new sections, new functions, more information about Myria Nodes, and better performance than ever before.
Builders on Myria
Retrocraft
Retrocraft combines classic nostalgia games with modern blockchain technology. Players get to experience some of their favorite titles and participate in different game modes. In January, Retrocraft launched a limited-edition NFT collection to celebrate its partnership with Myria.

Haven’s Compass
Haven’s Compass is a first-person shooter set in the future that combines weapon crafting with hero abilities. The game’s Genesis NFT collection launched on the Myria Marketplace in February, giving community members the chance to acquire a Compass NFT with utility expanding beyond the game and well into the Myria ecosystem
Haven’s Compass is set to launch later in 2024.
Backpack Legends
Backpack Legends is a roguelike that turns your backpack into a weapon.
The title features different classes and a complex crafting system, allowing for hundreds of strategies that players can utilize.
Blockchain & Token Updates
Myria Send Function
In March, the Myria ecosystem received another upgrade. Moving forward, users can send ERC-20 token values on Myria’s L2 network at no gas cost, helping users to move their tokens from one Myria Wallet to another as quickly as possible. This means you can freely transfer ETH or MYRIA tokens between different Myria wallets. The feature can be accessed through the “Send” function, found in the Myria L2 wallet.
Currently, users can make up to three transfers per 24 hours.
Myria Wallet History
The Myria Layer 2 Wallet received an additional feature with the “History” tab. Extra details regarding all your transactions with the Myria Wallet, including the exact date they occurred, can now be easily accessed.
Node Updates
Myria Nodes received some behind-the-scenes improvements related to Node reward distributions that will minimize any failures related to the distribution of rewards.
Myria continues to grow and 2024 has only just begun but what does the future hold? Throughout the rest of the year, you can expect to see more community events, new partnerships, big reveals, and some long-anticipated releases. Big things are on the way.
