The Federation Alliance patrols space, combating the expansion of the Rift on all fronts. Their ships are equipped with technology both ancient and cutting edge, and they might be humanity’s best chance at stemming the tide of the Rift’s relentless digitization of worlds.
While this Alliance may seem regimented, it is filled with mercenaries and militants, anyone with a weapon and the desire to knock the Rift back to where it came from. There might be a place for you here, if you’re dedicated enough to fight until the very end. But you have to wonder, if they’re willing to give up their morality in this war, are they really trying to keep humanity alive?
According to the Alliance known as Vector Prime, humanity is due for an evolution. And the Rift is the perfect way to take our complicated, confused selves and clarify them into the rational binary digital space of zeroes and ones.
Join Vector Prime and you will be helping the Rift digitize worlds and all who live on them. Guided by an AI leader, you will create order from the chaos of the Myriaverse. Many factors will fight against you, but you know that science and logic are the best laws to rule us all. But can you trust the AI once it has control of everything, including you?
Between the Alliances of the Federation and Vector Prime is the Equinox Alliance. Rather than striving to eradicate one another, they pursue balance in the Myriaverse. Perhaps humanity and the Rift can coexist. Driven by the search for knowledge, the Equinox collect every piece of information they can find, be it digital or carved into cave walls. Somewhere in all this data must be the answer to peace. You might be the one to finally unlock that puzzle.
But being in the middle can be a dangerous place for the Equinox. Old and new powers fight for supremacy within the Myriaverse, with the front lines right through the Equinox. All of that tension could tear this Alliance apart before they find the secret to equilibrium.
