The 13 minute Pixar marketing video every entrepreneur should watch

No, it’s not another long lost Steve Jobs commencement speech.

There’s no powerful or even vaguely inspirational quotes from George Lucas, Ed Catmull, or any of the other extraordinary people behind the storytelling giant.

What you’ll find is a bunch of nerds in a tiny office, passionately building stuff which most people (including their peers) think is pretty lame.

“Pixar is a collection of free-spirited, but highly respected scientists, who a decade ago were scoffed at by their academic colleagues”

If you haven’t read this guy’s book on creativity, do it now

Look at this guy. He’s not a movie star, or a billionaire. He’s just plugging away at a vision he shares with a team of like-minded people.

One day at a time.
In a tiny office.
With cashflow, HR and probably even insect problems.

Taking on commercial work in order to keep the lights on, while taking every available opportunity to test new ideas and techniques.

Even making this cheesy marketing video in 1990.

Which led them to release this movie just 5 years later.

Now. Who will you prove wrong?

What will you make in the next five years?
