6 Signs You’re Building a Kingdom Relationship, Not a Situationship
#3. It mirrors you into growth
Just because it feels great doesn’t mean it’s divine, and just because it has lasted until now doesn’t mean God’s hand is in it.
Some relationships are assignments that challenge you for a season. Others are distractions that corrupt your clarity and weaken your convictions. But a few are covenants that partner with heaven’s purpose for your life.
Here are six ways to discern the difference.
1. It amplifies your gifts
If being with them dulls your discernment, that’s not covenant — that’s concession.
A God-ordained relationship will not diminish your discernment.
It will not draw you back into patterns you have been freed from, nor will it mute your inner clarity or pull you into cycles you have outgrown.
Instead, it will sharpen your spirit.
The right person intensifies your oil — your spiritual flow and capacity — so you show up more fully, not less.
In the right pairing, your gifts are not merely preserved — they multiply. Their presence doesn’t siphon grace.
