Life Is Actually Pushing You to Learn This Powerful Lesson
Almost always
Last evening, I got a desperate call from my cousin.
He is doing a Ph.D. from Australia. Hardworking, intelligent guy who worked against all odds to get admission in his dream PhD.
The thing that should give him immense happiness is now the cause of his panic.
His professional and personal front is going nowhere. A few days back, his supervisor blasted his PhD research proposal in front of everyone.
He was humiliated despite having solid data to prove his results. His supervisor even wrote ill comments on his written English despite the fact he had cleared IELTS with high scores. His data was rejected despite the fact his department was (also) using his data to seal a deal with some pharmaceutical company.
Meanwhile, his colleagues whose experiments didn’t generate results got good grades and recommendations from him.
With no support around him, he is unable to sleep properly. Panic attacks and anxiety have become his routine.
I felt heavy after listening to him. We are childhood buddies and know how sincere and dedicated he is.
But I see such cases happening all around.
