No One Tells You The Hardest Part Of Your Spiritual Journey
The good thing is it does not come until you are ready to face it
“If you’d known before that your spiritual journey would be full of struggles, would you have taken it?”
She asked me this with wide, innocent eyes. Not with sarcasm, but with a curious heart.
For a moment, I didn’t know what to say.
How do you explain it’s not the retreats, meditations, rituals, or fasting that break you?
It’s when your entire identity crumbles slowly.
Everything you once clung to for meaning — your relationships, image, dreams, and beliefs — slowly dissolves like salt in water.
That’s the part no one really tells you about.
Thankfully, it doesn’t arrive until your soul is strong enough to bear the weight of such beautiful destruction.

It happens quietly, in silent moments.
