Spiritual Health and Your Work: Are The Two Aligned?
Our life is ours to make of it as we choose
In the past couple of years, I’ve made great strides in society's metrics of “growth.” I was promoted last month in my corporate job, and I’m financially better off than I’ve ever been.
If I were governed by other societal pressures, I might aim to settle down and buy a house next as the final metric to completing the 21st-century rulebook on what success looks like.
I say all of this with a hint of sarcasm because I’m not much happier in spite of what I’ve achieved.
Spiritually, I feel stunted.
