Why God Delays Love For His Chosen Ones
It's not to deprive but to protect
I didn't understand it when I was much younger, but I know it now.
If you’ve ever found yourself in a relationship that wasn’t meant for you, you know it too. You know the pain of wasted years, the tears shed in silence, and the pieces of your life that needed to be picked up when you were left broken.
That experience teaches you that one of the most important decisions a person will ever make is whom they join in body and spirit. The wrong attachment can poison the future.
The person you walk with can determine where you end up.
We think that if someone is kind, they must be meant for us, and if they show interest, they are intended for us. Just because someone desires you doesn’t mean they are right for you.
Many of us confuse having someone there with them being assigned to our destiny. It takes discernment.
If you choose potential without discernment, you may find yourself years later healing from wounds that could have been avoided with a little patience.
Without discernment, we confuse presence with purpose.
