You Know What Women Love More Than Anything?
It’s so easy to make us feel like a million bucks
It’s not about the dance
An upbeat, super fun song comes on, and to my surprise, I see him make a beeline for me. He extends his hand with a bright, hopeful look in his eye.
“Do you wanna dance?”
My eyes meet his, and I can see he is authentically excited to dance with me. He is a champion-level swing dancer and could have danced with anyone in the room that night. But for some reason, the second that song came on, he immediately chose me.
We hit the floor and had an amazing dance together. Throughout the song, I could see on his face that he was happy with his choice to dance with me — which elevated my spirits even more. He worked me pretty hard in that dance, and I’m proud to say that I delivered.
What struck me was that he could have stuck with his partner that night or asked one of his friends to dance, but instead, he sought me out for that song even though he had several other options.
When we parted ways after that dance, I was all aglow.
And it wasn’t just because we had a fantastic dance.
