Are You Achieving Success?
Success means we go to sleep at night knowing that our talents and abilities were used in a way that served others. ~ Marianne Williamson ~
“We’re all programmed to have the ability to be empathetic,” says Dr. Barry Wiser, a clinical psychologist practicing in southwestern Nova Scotia. “So we feel good when we do something for someone else, and our experiences will continue to shape that.”
A good measure of success is how well we are doing in living our best life. It is living fully our true purpose on earth while experiencing joy. Success is playing on our strengths and working on our weaknesses. It is having the feeling that we are living the life we are meant to live. It is feeling that we have done our part to make the world a better place. Success is knowing we have accomplished inner fulfillment. If you believe in yourself, others around you will believe in you, too.
“He has achieved success who has lived well, laughed often, and loved much;
Who has enjoyed the trust of pure women, the respect of intelligent men and the love of little children;
Who has filled his niche and accomplished his task;
Who has never lacked appreciation of Earth’s beauty or failed to express it;
Who has left the world better than he found it,
Whether an improved poppy, a perfect poem, or a rescued soul;
Who has always looked for the best in others and given them the best he had;
Whose life was an inspiration;
Whose memory a benediction.”
