Becoming More Spiritual

We receive principle in different ways at different ages. We receive principle in different ways given our experiences. But principle itself is really very simple. And so we we’re talking about these basics and I am reminded once again that all spiritual teaching is basics. As I’ve said so many times; becoming more advanced spiritually does not mean that you become more complicated in your spiritual understanding.

Becoming more advanced spiritually, in a way, means you become simpler in your spiritual understanding. There are a few principles and they apply in all ways, all the time, universally — period. ~ Marianne Williamson

Spiritual growth is not a means for escaping from responsibilities, behaving strangely and becoming an impractical person. It is a method of growing and becoming a stronger, happier and more responsible person.
