A child can get lost in thought for hours, imagining that they have unlimited freedom to do anything. They even believe in their fantasies, believing that it might even be their reality. It’s so easy for a child to get lost in a daydream. They have no rules to follow in their imagination, which help them really enjoy each new adventure. Everything they experience, they experience with enthusiasm.

Imagination allows children to develop creativity. It is the source of all human achievement. Einstein said, “Imagination is more important than knowledge.” Childhood is the best time to nurture imagination. It is a time for developing skills that are so necessary in the adult world. Childhood is a time to develop creative, problem solving skills, while enjoying the freedom of fantasy and imagination.

Happy children turn into happy adults. Too many adults are no longer excited about living. They are just going through the motions to pass the time. We can learn a lot from children, they have no concerns about money or being cool. It’s time to live in the moment. Get really excited about everything, just for fun. See the world with new eyes. There’s a child in everyone, let it show!

“Some birds are not meant to be caged, that’s all. Their feathers are too bright, their songs too sweet and wild. So you let them go, or when you open the cage to feed them they somehow fly out past you. And the part of you that knows it was wrong to imprison them in the first place rejoices, but still, the place where you live is that much more drab and empty for their departure.” ~ Stephen King, Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption: A Story from Different Seasons ~

“People who dream when they sleep at night know of a special kind of happiness which the world of the day holds not, a placid ecstasy, and ease of heart, that are like honey on the tongue. They also know that the real glory of dreams lies in their atmosphere of unlimited freedom. It is not the freedom of the dictator, who enforces his own will on the world, but the freedom of the artist, who has no will, who is free of will. The pleasure of the true dreamer does not lie in the substance of the dream, but in this: that there things happen without any interference from his side, and altogether outside his control. Great landscapes create themselves, long splendid views, rich and delicate colors, roads, houses, which he has never seen or heard of…” ~ Karen Blixen, Out of Africa ~

“The moment you doubt whether you can fly, you cease for ever to be able to do it.” ~ J.M. Barrie, Peter Pan ~

We at www.mysticaltalk.com believe that children are our future, teach them well and let them lead the way. Show them all the beauty they possess inside. Give them a sense of pride to make it easier. Let the children’s laughter remind us how we used to be. (Whitney Houston’s Greatest Love of All.)
