I meant what I said, and I said what I meant… An elephant’s faithful one hundred percent (Horton Hatches the Egg) ~ Dr. Seuss ~ As Dr. Seuss tells us, be loyal to your friends, and be a person of integrity.

Integrity is like a code of honor. If you have integrity, it means that you have certain values and beliefs that you live by. It also means you respect the values and beliefs of others.

Integrity is a lot like honesty — it’s one of the building blocks of character.

“Somebody once said that in looking for people to hire, you look for three qualities: integrity, intelligence, and energy. And if you don’t have the first, the other two will kill you. You think about it; it’s true. If you hire somebody without [integrity], you really want them to be dumb and lazy.” ― Warren Buffett

Loyalty is faithfulness. It means standing by someone even when times get tough.

“Your truest friends are the ones who will stand by you in your darkest moments — because they’re willing to brave the shadows with you — and in your greatest moments — because they’re not afraid to let you shine.” ―Nicole Yatsonsky

Loyalty is an important part of friendship. Think of the type of person that would be exactly what you want in a friend. Imagine how they would interact with you, how they would treat you in good times and in bad. After you have in your mind an image of that person, make a commitment to yourself to be that person for others. You will be surprised how easy it actually is to be that person.

We at www.mysticaltalk.com believe in the power of the positive. What we value most in our friends is loyalty to each other, and integrity. We believe it is important to do the right thing, no matter what the consequences and whether or not anyone is watching. That makes for good integrity.
