PRAYER — HOLY ONE

Holy One,
When I am receptive, I connect with a reality beyond my five senses.
At the corners of my mind, I catch a movement of energy, a subtle feeling.
In these moments, I am at peace.
My eyes and ears are easily drawn to the outer pictures of an endlessly repeating cycle of drama, trauma and tragedy, both personal and global.
Beyond this apparent chaos is a sweet and sublime order, a subtle rhythm that is hard to notice at first.
Spiritual practice brings this inner world into my conscious awareness.
Passion, peace, love and joy flow from this spiritual reality through me now.
Your Light shining as my life can eliminate the darkness.
I let it shine.
