Year 2017, Numerology, and You
The year 2017 is the Zodiac year of the Rooster. This year will highlight the men and women of action, those that are honest and ambitious and have outstanding working abilities. It is the year of the risk-taker. We can add to that by digging deeper into the significance of Numerology, and how it interacts with the year 2017.
Our calendar year 2017, in Numerology, is represented by the №1. It is the beginning number from which all the other numbers began. It is the number of consciousness. The №1 is governed by the Sun. This year will have lots of brightness and fire, just like the sun. The №1 is the symbol of unity with a great sense of survival.
Numerology has been used for thousands of years in China, Rome, Japan and Greece to help discover secret meanings and predictions for the future. The study is based on an idea proposed by Pythagoras around 500 BC, that everything can be expressed in terms of numbers.
To calculate the Personal Year number for 2017, reduce 2017 to 2 + 0 +1 + 7 = 10. The number is reduced to the single digit by adding 1 + 0 = 1. The final Personal Year number is 1. When we know the Personal Year number, we can study the challenges and the opportunities that are ahead for us in 2017. As it is represented by the №1, it is the beginning of a brand new cycle of growth.
For us as a people, the №1, representing our year 2017, is the sign of creativity. We as a nation will start to find creative solutions to confusing issues that have plagued us in the past. Our determination and motivation will be the envy of those on the outside, looking in. This is a year that we will lead by example. The №1 will always be there when help is needed, but tends to be extremely unpleasant when taken advantage of.
We have to be very careful that we don’t take our strong drive too intensely for we may become too self centered and boastful. We forget that we are all part of the big picture, and will do great things when we work together as one. In 2017, our №1 leads us away from mediocrity, as it’s time to stand out from the others. The year of №1 will try many times to force its values and opinions on others, but there will be very little listening to others during this year. In 2017, the №1 year, it’s important that we avoid overspending. Any spending should be carefully analyzed and done in moderation.
The №1 can be divided into any number, leaving it unaltered and so represents the Spirit, which can enter all things without change. It is a year of following our passion. We are going to dazzle others with our brilliance. We can do this by stepping out of our comfort zone and begin creating our own new and unique reality within our thoughts and actions.
