Who said you can’t DM on Instagram from your computer

Direct Message for Instagram allows you sending messages to your friends and followers. But when you go to Instagram on the computer you may have noticed the lack of Direct Message’s features.

Well, there is actually a way to do it.

You can see your DMs by following few steps.

Step #1

Open Instagram on the preferable web browser and Login to your account.

Step #2

Now you can view posts, stories and even follow others.

But we need to find the DM icon on top, right!

Step #3

Right-click on anywhere on the page and click on Inspect.

By clicking on inspect, you can see a panel like this.

Step #4

You are so close to seeing your DMs. Now click on the “toggle devise toolbar” button.

Step #5

Now refresh the page and exit out of the inspection window. Once your browser is configured, the direct-message shortcut will appear on the top right corner.

TADA!! We have done it!

Now click on that DM icon on the top and you can see all your messages and conversations as you see on your Instagram mobile app.

Once your browser is configured, click on the + button on the bottom and you can upload an image from your computer.
