Easter is the holiday where you celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who had been beaten, whipped, and crucified three days prior.

Women alerted the disciples that He had risen. They ran and saw for themselves that the tombstone had been rolled away, nobody to be found, and his wraps were folded on the bed. An angel appeared and told them that He had risen and to go spread the word.

The books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John all talk about this resurrection. Four different scribes recorded this same event in strikingly similar detail.

All we have for records on some of the most famous leaders, kings, and inventors of time are eyewitness testimonials. Plato, Aristotle, and Socrates are three examples. Why do we believe they existed and did what they did but Jesus is a farther reach?

He is alive and He is returning
