Stake LOOM using a Ledger
You can now stake LOOM with Mythos directly from your Ledger Nano S Wallet. Staking from a Ledger is an excellent option for our security conscious stakers who prefer to stake directly from a hardware wallet.
While LOOM has soft launched this functionality and will formally announce soon, we have already successfully tested staking with the Ledger and have just released Ledger instructions in our LOOM Staking Guide.

Staking LOOM with a Ledger is Not Yet for Everyone
Staking with a Ledger at this point is not for everyone.
LOOM support for Ledger is in Beta mode, so we only recommend that you try it now if you have some advanced proficiency and are fine with some bumps in the process. (By bumps we mean errors, slowness, and inability to stake from Ledger, there are NOT errors that will result in a loss of LOOM funds)
Additionally, you’ll need:
- Your Ledger updated to the latest Firmware version and Ethereum wallet app via the Ledger Live application
- An older version of Chrome (not Chrome 72) or an older version of Opera or Brave (the latest version of Chrome caused a breaking issue with Ledger web interaction — a fix is still on the way)
If the above sounds overly difficult, we recommend you stake using Metamask or wait a week or two until the Ledger experience is a bit more seamless. We’ll keep you updated as the Ledger support improves, just signup for our LOOM newsletter.
That said…
We were able to successfully stake with Ledgers during our testing and we have to say — it feels pretty good to have this added layer of security.

The support from LOOM community for Mythos has been amazing and we’re proud to have recently passed the 3m mark of LOOM staked!
Additionally, the LOOM team has continued to impress. Quickly fixing bugs in the interface, shipping updates multiple time a week, and remaining responsive to the community. We expect the Staking experience to keep getting better for here!
