New EU regulations coming into effect on 1 July 2021 eliminate the VAT exemption that currently applies to MyWikis. As a result, to comply with European Union regulations, MyWikis will begin collecting VAT at the rate of your home country for all payments occurring after 1 July 2021 to those in the EU area.

Integrating VAT into our prices requires us to regionalize prices to best adapt to local taxation rates. Beginning 1 July 2021 or earlier, you may begin to see new prices adapted to the inclusion of VAT. In order to streamline our prices, we will begin collecting all EU area payments in Euros, even if the country uses its own currency. For instance, all payments collected from Sweden will not use the krona, but will instead use the Euro. This is also because we pay VAT in Euros, not other currencies.

All payments collected in Euros will automatically include VAT in the rate beginning 1 July 2021.

If you are a company and have not already entered your VAT number into our system, please do so before 1 July 2021. Failure to do so will result in your company being charged the full amount with VAT included.

Note these provisions do not apply to the UK. The United Kingdom VAT exemption continues to apply to MyWikis past 1 July 2021. Should the situation change, we will notify you. Pound Sterling prices will not be affected with the EU VAT introduction because the UK is no longer in the EU.
