How does life take hold? It is ineffable. Against the roughest backdrop, it clings on.

Perhaps it began with a wish, a sprinkling of light, a tendril of wind. Colors found their way into the world, and they danced together. The darkest crevices became the springboards for birth: latch on, nudge upward, seek the sky.

Its first breath was the rhythm of the seas, the lullaby of air. At once, it inhaled the universe. Overwhelming joy — the desire to continue, to lock arms with earth and sun, to make new.

There is infinitude in the smallest of things.
