It comes to a point where you have to take a stance and mine was to jump into setting up an impromptu event to celebrate Womxn in Space for International Women’s Day. I have been miffed over the past 5+ years waiting for one such event to magically appear in this great City. It hasn’t. So this year I decided enough is enough, it is time to plant the flag myself and crack on.
So it started with a tweet!
On the next day, where things firmed up with a venue and amazing support from the community
Now we need you to join and spread the word to make sure we let women in STEM and technology who are passionate about space and might not have ever considered it as a sector to join.
The opportunities are growing and we need talent across every business function to help the space companies of tomorrow to scale with impact. So many of the space startups I meet are aligned to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and that is so encouraging.
Naaut’s vision has always been to join the dots between people, technology, and innovation to create the biggest impact. If we can scale-space technology to go to the Moon, Mars and beyond, why can’t we use this technology to help the Planet’s issues such as Climate Crisis.
