Shimmering New Year’s Eye Makeup

Beautiful Reflections with Maya Adivi

Get ready to usher in the new year with a sparkly, daring halo eye inspired by the streets of Yerevan, and beautiful Armenian skin!

Step 1) Beautiful makeup starts with beautiful skin — I cleansed Lilit’s skin with the gentle Nairian Cleanser, followed it up with a spray of Nairian Toner and some Moisturizer for Oily Skin.

Step 2) For natural looking complexion apply the protecting Nairian CC cream lightly all over the face. Follow it up with a bit of corrector if you desire extra coverage.

Step 3) The key motif of this look is glow. Get a glowing complexion by applying a strobe cream to center of forehead, down the center of your nose, on the apples of your cheeks and in the Cupid’s Bow.

Step 4) Contour lightly with a taupe shadow or cream under the cheekbones, in the temples and above the crease of the eye.

Step 5) Using a black liner, draw the outline of where you want the eyeshadow to go — on the outer corner, and inner corner, going into the crease.

Step 6) Highlight the corner of the eye and the area below the brow with a shimmery beige.

Step 7) Dab a touch of shimmery silver into the center of the lid.

Step 8) Apply black eyeshadow in the outer corner of the eye, blend it into the crease, and then into the inner corner of the eye.

Step 9) Line the eyes — below the lower lashes, and above the lower lashes

Step 10) Fill in your brows lightly.

Step 11) Apply mascara liberally, consider also adding a pair of false lashes to make the look extra glamorous.

Step 12) Apply a shimmery, light blush between highlight and contour on the cheeks.

Step 13) Overline lips with a light taupe lip liner, and fill in with a nude lipstick. Add a dab of shimmery eyeshadow in the center of the lips, voila, you’re New Year’s ready!
