[Event] Designing for Social Impact
Figma Africa Nairobi in partnership with Nairobi Design Community (NDC) invites designers, developers, product managers and startup founders for Figma Africa meetup, Nairobi edition, themed ‘Designing for socio-economic impact’. The event will be on 2nd October between 6 pm and 8 pm at Metta, 14 Riverside Drive Belgravia Building, Nairobi.

We have an exciting line-up of topics & activities to empower us with design-thinking skills, UI/UX design education, and networking. We shall also learn how to collaboratively design products using Figma.
On the programme we have:

*Dennis Muthuri, Lead Designer iHub Software Consulting, taking us through an iTax re-design they worked on recently
*Allan Minani, CEO portable voices, taking us through how design thinking and application of design principles influence product at portable voices.
*Isaiah Wakoli, an exemplary art director https://www.instagram.com/iwakoli/guides us through his design process for his afro-futurist & cosmic style.
*A walk-through of the Figma tool by Njiiri and Lavet, Figma ambassadors, as well as sharing design education resources.
*A mingling session with our vibrant network of invitees :)
