This was a fun review-styled post. Are you planning to cover Shameless or another television show week to week? While good and hitting a majority of the points, I would find this type of writing more interested if I heard more of your critical thought on certain parts of the show. Where your writing really shines is in the fourth paragraph where you question the terminology of the “conditional gift”. That was great! Now dig a little deeper. Detailed analysis will set your writing apart in the crowded pop-culture/television market.

This voice of criticality punctuated with humor is refreshing and strong. As mentioned above, all the points were nailed but I want a little more deeper analysis.

Using the right tools for the job: (✓)

Great choice for the header, but really dig into the corners of the Internet to find more media to support the story. Are there opportunities for video embeds? GIFs? Character quotes? How can you shake up the layout to make best use of this platform?
